AIM worked with The Sands Group Macau to deliver a series of unique and engaging experiences for guests to enjoy inside and outside the Londoner Hotel Macau. The English-themed resort promises ‘the best of Britain under one huge roof’, and AIM’s themed and interactive activations for The Londoner give guests a true taste of the UK capital.

Despite Macau being largely locked down since 2020 due to successive COVID waves, AIM was tasked with reinventing and reimagining the guest experience via 11 unique activations which combine cutting edge technology and rich content. In the constant quest for increased visitation and social media engagement, The Sands team relied on AIM to deliver the Instagram-friendly audience charmers that would keep current and prospective guests tapped in with The Londoner brand.
Achieving the collection of ‘Instagram Moments’ for The Londoner saw AIM’s Australian leads collaborating virtually with their appointed delivery team in Macau. COVID restrictions meant the installation of each Instagram Moment was overseen carefully via virtual means. Each screen was monitored, each experience videoed and analysed to ensure creative integrity and AIM best practice was always upheld.


AIM’s ‘Instagram Moments Collection’ for the Londoner Hotel Macau was recently honoured with a Silver Stevie Award for ‘Best Brand Activation’ in the Brand and Experiences category of the 19th Annual International Business Awards – announced 15 Aug 2022.
