THE LONDONER – CURIOSITY SHOPPE
Guests of the Londoner Hotel Macau find themselves in a double take as they walk past this unusual window front. Each of the portraits were designed and captured to spring to life and interact with one another in this one-of-a-kind installation.

REAL FILMED CHARACTERS INTERACTING WITH REAL WORLD OBJECTS
In yet another feat of creative and technical ingenuity, the unique ‘Curiosity Shoppe’ installation offers a host of clever and intriguing surprises for visitors to the Londoner Hotel.
The installation depicts beautifully filmed characters, captured wearing authentic costumes and in elaborately dressed physical sets – all interacting with each other through the medium of separate artworks and screens.
The characters not only have the ability to interact with their digital counterparts, but they can also affect the real-world objects contained within the window display.
A MAGICAL WINDOW COMBINING VIDEO CONTENT AND MECHANISED PROPS
AIM curated a collection of eclectic objects in a shop window and brought each of them to life in an eruption of kinetic and digital magic. A storm brews in a painting of the sea. This causes the model ship positioned in front to rock on its frame. The portraits feel the cold and some even become frightened by the lightening! This is only some of what happens as each and every prop and painting has a part to play in the magic.
