A NEW STAR IS BORN
Staged for over 3,000 International students and programmers in Xi’an China, leading Astro-Physicist Christophe Galfard’s immersive lecture “The Universe”, takes the audience on a journey to the surface of our sun, to the Milky Way Galaxy, and deep into the deathly grip of a distant black hole.
In collaboration with Galfard and UK based production company, Done & Dusted, AIM was proud to create the show’s digital content using revolutionary 3D technologies – utilising a real-time pipeline to build stunning environments. AIM’s new workflow capabilities allowed Galfard to take his audience on an interactive ride through neighbouring galaxies, into the rough suburbs of a black hole and to the far-reaching corners of the visible Universe.
Through Galfard’s brilliant storytelling, humour and scientific expertise, and the unique collaboration between Done & Dusted and Artists In Motion, “The Universe” succeeds in exploring the theories of special relativity, dark matter and interstellar travel; all of the mind-bending science that underpins modern life, and unpacks the big questions about the beginning of existence and the future of humanity.
