A FAIRYTALE THAT
COMES TO LIFE
Artists in Motion were honoured to have been involved in the recent collaboration of Tokyo Disneyland’s Christmas Show, treating nightly audiences to a 20-minute sound and light show which featured an array of Disney characters set amongst our newly designed creative scene work.
With music and visuals inspired by the holiday season, 'The Gifts of Christmas' touched on the wonders and magic of Christmas with brilliant projection, laser and lighting effects transforming the 50m high Disneyland Castle into a metamorphosing beacon of light.
Working closely with Mickey and his Disney Friends, the Disneyland creative team and Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios, AIM helped deliver a show which transformed Cinderella’s Castle into unseen wonders capturing the true magic of Disney with freshly designed animations created specifically for this show – while cleverly incorporating several much-loved characters from several classic Disney animated movies.
Existing Disney Animation from classic movies was blended with content generated by AIM to map perfectly onto the castle.

The entire show was storyboarded in detail and each scene crafted and designed in collaboration with the Disney team.
