AN ADVENTURE INTO A NEW MEDIUM OF THEATRE
This story is like a dream - it’s born from the imagination, so that ultimately set the tone. Not only in the way we artistically approached it, but also in the way it theatrically transformed. This is a great showcase in the way a multi-dimensional physical set, combined with a perfect synergy of projected imagery and stunning choreography and acrobatics, can change the dynamics of storytelling and push the boundaries further than either medium can do alone.
This production is a once in a lifetime show that focuses on a new, untold and final chapter to one of the world’s most famous pieces of literature; 1001 Arabian Nights. Through the combined efforts of Multiple International, 7 Doigts, and AIM, we were humbled and thrilled to take this classic subject and deliver a truly beautiful spectacle at the Al Majaz Amphitheatre, in honour of Sharjah being awarded the "UNESCO World Book Capital 2019".

Our story pays homage to its heroine Sheherazade and her legacy, as it reflects on the power and importance of storytelling as well as inspiring us to never stop pursuing our own imagination.
EVERY SURFACE OF THE SET WAS PROJECTION MAPPED ALLOWING FOR STUNNING TRANSFORMATIONS
CONTENT SEAMLESSLY SYNCHRONISED TO EVEN THE MOST COMPLEX CHOREOGRAPHY
We carefully pre-visualised all elements in advance to make sure that both projection and live performance were perfectly integrated and utterly convincing.
