Created for the inaugural A Thousand and One Music Festival in Riyadh, Artists in Motion developed the digital content and large-scale projections that shaped the festival's distinctive visual identity. Inspired by the timeless tales of One Thousand and One Nights, the experience reimagined legendary characters, mythical worlds and ancient stories through contemporary animation, projection and large-scale digital environments.
Rather than creating traditional stage visuals, Artists in Motion developed an interconnected visual world that extended across the festival grounds. Large-scale LED screens, projection-mapped environments and bespoke digital content transformed each precinct into a distinct destination, while a team of AIM VJs performed the content live throughout the festival, responding to each artist and creating unique visual experiences for every set.
Featuring performances by Eric Prydz, DJ Snake, R3HAB, ARTBAT and Salvatore Ganacci, the production seamlessly blended live music, immersive visuals and storytelling, establishing a new benchmark for festival experiences where every performance became part of a larger visual journey.
