Artists In Motion were deeply honoured to contribute to the Dhai Dubai Light Art Exhibition 2025 at Expo City, one of the region’s most anticipated cultural celebrations that offers a holistic showcase of Emirati artistic talent whilst creating an unforgettable experience for visitors from around the world.
Held in a city transformed into a canvas of light, storytelling, and cultural expression, the exhibition invited audiences to experience the intersection of tradition and modernity through visual spectacle and narrative design. Led by the visionary Emirati artist and cultural ambassador Fatma Lootah, AIM was asked to design and create the main installation for the festival. Following an inspiring 2-day workshop with Fatma Lootah, Expo City’s Executive Creative Director Amna Abulhoul, and AIM’s Creative Director Caterina Vicaretti, we got to work creating a multi-sensory light installation in Al Wasl Dome that combined video projection, lighting and a fully immersive soundscape. Enjoyed by tens of thousands of visitors over the week-long festival, the installation exemplified the exhibition’s mission to bridge tradition and innovation through large-scale public art.
