Over four editions, AIM developed and delivered bespoke content that responded to the scale, complexity and character of the festival's unique urban environment. Working within an intensive five-week production schedule each year, a multidisciplinary team of Creative Directors, animation artists and real-time media specialists created immersive visual experiences tailored specifically to the historic precinct.
Guided by detailed 3D laser scans of twelve heritage buildings, every sequence was precisely designed to integrate with the architecture, allowing each façade to become an active part of the performance. Live VJs orchestrated the content throughout the festival, adapting visuals in real time to create a seamless dialogue between music, light and place.
The result was an evolving audience experience that respected the heritage of the site while reinforcing the festival's reputation as one of the region's most innovative cultural events.
