A PERMANENT EXHIBITION SET OVER

2 FLOORS AND COVERING 2,000sqm

Artists in Motion had the great privilege of designing the Experiential Centre at Haier Headquarters in Qingdao, China. This 20-minute guided tour caters to Haier's VIP guests including industry CEOs and Government officials from around the world. The experience centre heralds Haier's world leading role in the Manufacturing IoT Revolution, being one of the flagship enterprises that has advanced China significantly on the world stage.

The centre houses immersive, large-scale audio visual content for bespoke screen formats, interactive technology, projection mapping, kinetic sculptures and a 6-story atrium garden.

 

AIM DESIGNED & DELIVERED BOTH THE PHYSICAL EXHIBITS & CONTENT MEDIA

In addition to designing the exhibition space, AIM also designed and installed hundreds of screens delivering hours of tailored content to tell the story and essence of Haier - The Networked Enterprise. At each stage of the visitor journey, the user can decide whether to take a deeper dive into each of their IoT Platforms at the touch of a button. 

 
 

THE ENTIRE EXHIBIT VISUALISED IN VR

AIM built the entire exhibition in VR allowing our client to interact with the experience, transforming them from a passive user into an active participant. The client was transported to a fully immersive environment where they could freely explore the space. Having this tool at their disposal meant that we could tailor the exhibit exactly to their needs and ensuring a smoother build and install once onsite.

MULTIPLE BESPOKE SCREEN DESIGNS

The exhibition featured numerous bespoke LED screen configurations. The shapes and positions of the screen within the space were design to enhance the storytelling and to create dynamic and engaging canvases to explain the complex philosophical narratives that underpin Haier's ethos. 

SMART HOME, SMART EXHIBITION

Haier's smart home has changed from electrical appliances to network devices, thus building a full-scenario ecology, and constantly creating new value for users. The Haier Smart Home Exhibition showcases how the Haier Smart Home is a space fully customised to service the home-owner’s unique needs. 

The entire exhibition is operated by guides from a handheld device, enabling them to tailor the exhibit to the audience. All digital assets throughout the exhibition are integrated at the backend by a content management and show control system. 

ONE SPACE, SIX BRANDS

Haier owns many of the world’s leading appliance brands including Fisher Paykel, General Electrics and Casarte. The exhibition was designed to tell a global story as well as showcase each individual brand within one holistic space.
