As part of the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame's major redevelopment, Artists in Motion was commissioned to create a new hero attraction that would immerse visitors in the rich history of Australia's outback and the enduring spirit of its stockmen and women.
Transforming the existing theatre into an 18-metre panoramic projection environment, the experience combined cinematic storytelling with original music, animation, sound design and spatial design to create a compelling twenty-minute journey. From the earliest days of the pastoral industry through to the challenges and innovations of the present, the production celebrated the resilience, ingenuity and deep connection between people, land and livestock that continue to define the Australian outback.
Delivered from concept through to completion, the project became the emotional centrepiece of the museum experience—inviting visitors to reflect on the stories that helped shape a nation.
