Renowned Egyptian pianist and composer Omar Khairat performed a highly anticipated concert at Expo 2020 Dubai as part of the Infinite Nights series.

Set within Al Wasl Plaza, the performance placed Khairat’s symphonic work beneath the 360-degree projection surface of the Al Wasl Dome, the architectural centrepiece of the Expo. The result was a concert shaped as much by atmosphere as by scale, where music, light and place worked together in service of the performance.

Known for blending Eastern and Western musical traditions, Khairat performed a selection of his much-loved cinematic and television scores for an audience gathered from across the region and beyond. The evening celebrated Egypt’s musical heritage with grace and confidence, bringing a deeply familiar body of work into a global cultural setting.
