AIM took to the skies for the 2023 Dubai World Cup Closing Ceremony, delivering a spectacular finale to the racing season for a live audience of 80,000 and millions watching worldwide.

Commissioned by Dubai Racing Club, we conceived, designed, directed and delivered the entire creative experience, transforming Meydan Racecourse into a connected canvas of light, motion and national pride. An emotive narrative and original musical score drove a large-scale production featuring projections, LED lighting, over 2,000 sqm of connected LED screens, aerial performances and pyrotechnics.

The climax saw 1,900 drones create breathtaking 3D formations celebrating the UAE’s culture and identity, including galloping horses, iconic landmarks, national symbols and a tribute to HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
