A Historic Beginning
For the inaugural European Games, Artists in Motion created visual content that helped shape a landmark opening and closing ceremony watched by audiences around the world.
A ceremony at every scale
Produced by FiveCurrents, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the first European Games marked a defining moment in Azerbaijan's history. As the creative content team, Artists in Motion developed a diverse suite of media that flowed seamlessly throughout the production, supporting every chapter of the ceremony with a cohesive visual language.
From the opening countdown and Flame Arrival to the Athlete's Parade, Torch Ceremony and Closing Ceremony celebrations, each sequence was carefully designed to enhance the live performance and reinforce the ceremony's emotional rhythm. Together, the work formed an integrated visual experience that celebrated the arrival of a new international sporting event on the world stage.
