1001 Nights: The Last Chapter reimagined the timeless world of Sheherazade through a breathtaking fusion of theatre, projection, choreography and acrobatics. Conceived as an original final chapter to one of the world's most celebrated works of literature, the production explored the enduring power of imagination and the stories that continue to shape us across generations.
Created in collaboration with Multiple International and Les 7 Doigts, the production transformed the Al Majaz Amphitheatre into a richly layered theatrical canvas where multi-dimensional scenery, projected imagery and live performance existed in perfect harmony. Rather than supporting one another, each creative element became part of the storytelling itself, demonstrating how theatre, projection and choreography can push the boundaries of what either medium can achieve alone.
Presented in celebration of Sharjah's designation as UNESCO World Book Capital 2019, the production paid tribute to Sheherazade's extraordinary legacy while inspiring audiences to embrace the timeless importance of storytelling, imagination and the stories that connect us across cultures and generations.
